John Repsch

John Repsch wrote the definitive biography of Joe Meek, the notorious independent record producer (aka the Telstar Man) of the 1960s.

The film rights have been taken up by Scala Productions/Granada Films, and shooting is scheduled to begin soon. Marc Evans ("Resurrection Man" and "My Little Eye") is to direct, and the title role will be played by Rhys Ifans ("Notting Hill").
