Lynsey de Paul

Lynsey is well known as a singer, composer, actor, presenter and producer.

She has won two Ivor Novello Awards and the Woman of the Year Award for Music from the Variety Club of Great Britain. She has composed 12 top twenty hit records and nine primetime television themes and incidental music.

Trained at the Hornsey College of Art, Lynsey kept up her artwork and was employed as the resident weekly cartoonist for Okay! Magazine with her pocket-cartoon series entitled 'Light Entertainment' and for Chic Magazine with another series of pocket-cartoons entitled 'Woman to Woman'.

Lynsey hosted her own half-hour television series for Granada Sky Broadcasting entitled 'Women of Substance' with guests including Heather Mills-McCartney and Tracey Edwards (the first round-the-world yachtswoman).

She won the Royal Television Society award for her BBC1 documentary 'Eve Strikes Back.'

Lynsey is completing her autobiography.
