Sold as a slave

Arjeta Hisari's book COLD KISS will be published in Spring 2011 and we are already fielding offers from TV documentary-makers.

Arjeta's story of being sold into slavery is sadly not so out of the ordinary now. Her mother sold her, at the age of 12, “for the price of a second hand tractor engine”. What is so remarkable and heart-rending however, is her command of colloquial English. The appeal and quality and even the wry humour of her writing has been hailed by major publishers as enchanting.
