The man who named the Beatles and inspired their 1966 hit "Paperback Writer".

Royston has recently completed a new novel, Sweet Ebony, which follows the travels of a group of thrill-seeking Americans through Kenya.

A Hero In Time, Royston's novel based on the true story of Bodu Thakurufaan, leader of the Maldivia revolt against Portuguese occupation in the 16th century, is now in pre-production with director/producer Jamil Dehlavi (Jinnah) and goes into production in November this year.
